26. Some of your music is clear and loud and some of it is so soft I have to turn my volume up all the way to hear it. Why?
If the ones you are having difficulty hearing are MIDI files then your MIDI volume may have been turned down. Go to your volume control (usually it is the speaker icon on the right side of the bottom of your screen), double click on it to open it. make sure all volumes are set the same.

27 I have Windows NT and can't hear sound.
If you run a Windows NT and want our screen savers that have MP3 music please read this. Windows NT media player v 7.x does not play MP3 files. Your meda PLAYER needs to be v6.4, not v7.x.

29 I received a DVD but when I insert it in my DVD drive nothing happens. Why?
It's possible that the autorun feature on your DVD player has been turned off. To make it do the autorun you need to hold down the shift key as you insert the DVD. That should bring up the menu. If the autorun menu still does not come up you can still see all the files on the DVD and install from the DVD. Just use your Windows Explore to see the files on the DVD. To open Windows Explore right-click on the start button and select "explore". Then look in the left side pane of the window which opens for the Drive d (D:) which is your DVD drive (it may have a different label than D but it will look like a tiny DVD and will have the additional label SD Screen Savers). Click on that drive and look to the right side for the files on that drive. You can double click on any of the screen saver installers to start installing that screen saver.

30 Your screen saver won't stay on for longer than five or ten minutes. After that, the screen goes black and we have only the sound. Can you please let us know how to fix this?
You have your power saving setting set to blank the screen after 10 minutes. If you don't want that to happen just increase that time period. To change that setting go to START-SETTINGS-CONTROL PANEL-DISPLAY PROPERTIES-SCREEN SAVERS Near the bottom of that window is a button labeled "Settings" --- Select that button -- choose "NEVER" in the drop down menu next to "Turn off monitor"

32 When I install your screen saver it keeps telling me I don't have Flash Player installed but I've already installed it.
Sometimes when you install the Flash Player using Netscape it isn't detectde by the screen saver. Try using Internet Explorer and going to the Flash download page. Install the Flash player from that page, restart your computer and then everything should work correctly.

33 I get a blank white, black or colored screen. How do I fixed this?
The blank screen happens when an earlier version of Flash was installed before the latest version and sometimes when other software interferes with a Flash player. Uninstall your Flash 6 player using the remove player application from Macromedia (click here to download). Then restart your computer. Using Internet Explorer (Netscape sometimes has trouble) go to the Flash download page. Install the Flash player from that page, restart your computer and then everything should work correctly. The black screen occurs if the Flash installation is not detected. When installing from Netscape sometimes that problem occurs, so use Internet Explorer to install the Flash player and all should work correctly. Don't forget to restart your computer after installation.

34 How do I download a demo screen saver?
Go to the page that has the list of all screen savers (www.SanDiegoScreenSavers.com/list.php?id=1) and click on the name of the screen saver you want. You will be sent to the product page for that screen saver. On the product page about halfway down and on the right side you will see links to download one or more demos. Click on the demo link you want. That will start the download of the demo screensaver installation file. Save the demo screen saver installation file to your computer (don't try to install form our site -- it may cause problems with the installation). After you have downloaded the installation file close all open programs including email and web browser. Find the installation file and double click on it to start the screen saver installation. Follow the instructions given. If you download and install more than one demo screen saver make sure you close all open programs in between the installations.
